We are committed to providing high-quality products and services for your ski, snowboard, and mountain biking needs. Please carefully review our store policies regarding returns, warranties, and services. By purchasing from our store, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

1. Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions:

  • Products must be returned within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt.

  • Products must be in new, unused condition, with all original packaging, labels, and accessories intact. Items showing signs of use will not be eligible for return.

  • Custom orders and personalized items are not eligible for return, unless they are defective or damaged upon arrival.

  • To initiate a return or exchange, you must contact us at info@swissbreadbutter.ch within the 14-day period to obtain a return authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

  • The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the product arrives defective or damaged.

  • Refunds or exchanges will only be processed after we receive and inspect the returned items. We reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange if the product does not meet the above conditions.

 

2. Warranty

We offer a 2-year warranty in accordance with Swiss law. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and workmanship for skis, snowboards, and mountain bikes purchased from The Swiss Bread and Butter.

  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents, normal wear and tear, or modifications made by the buyer or third parties.

  • In the event of a manufacturing defect within the 2-year period, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the product.

  • Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to info@swissbreadbutter.ch, including a detailed description of the defect, proof of purchase, and any relevant photos. We reserve the right to assess the validity of the claim before offering a solution.

 

3. Binding Adjustments

We offer binding adjustments based on the information provided by the buyer at checkout. When purchasing skis or snowboards, please provide accurate details regarding your weight, boot length, and experience level.

  • Disclaimer: We assume no liability for binding adjustments made based on inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the buyer. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the information is correct, and any injury resulting from incorrect adjustments is the buyer’s sole responsibility.

4. Parallel Imports and Authorized Resale

Some of the products we sell may be sourced through parallel imports or from authorized resellers. In both cases, the products are fully covered by a 2-year warranty in accordance with Swiss law.

  • This warranty provides the same protection as for directly imported products, ensuring that your rights are not affected by the product’s origin.

 

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Swiss Bread and Butter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of products purchased from us, including but not limited to injury, loss of profits, or damage to property.

 

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland.
